The profession of stained glass artist requires a range of artistic, intellectual, and physical skills, making it ideal for "multitasking" individuals. This is why it is essential, before embarking on training or career change, to experience this profession firsthand through a professional immersion in a workshop. This hands-on experience helps confirm one’s vocation and understand the realities of the craft.
Over the last 30 years, the workshop has hosted more than 200 trainees and 18 apprentices have obtained their CAP (certificate of professional competence). This shows the importance placed by Sklaerenn Imbeaud on training and transmission of knowledge, particularly towards women.
"My life has been enriched by meeting particularly inspiring people. Now it’s my turn to open the doors of my workshop and pass on the passion for this craft. I ‘sow’ these skills in each person so they may flourish."
Sklaerenn Imbeaud welcomes many interns each year and on average hosts 2 apprentices simultaneously.
