Sklaerenn Imbeaud creates decorative and functional works: mirrors, lamps, folding screens, mobiles, and sculptures. Each piece she creates must resonate with the space that receives it. This leads her to create artworks that are sometimes miniature, sometimes monumental, in formats that can be suspended or wall-mounted. These personal works offer a fresh perspective on the traditional use of stained glass and glasswork.
For several years, her research has focused on themes of vegetation, calligraphy, rhythm, movement, empty and full spaces, transparency and opacity, horizontality and verticality.
Her creations, with their Japanese-inspired style and sleek design reflect her appreciation for Asian arts and their influence.
