The En Verre Contre Tout workshop, with a team of 8 qualified people, specializes in the restoration of civil and religious stained glass of Historical Monuments classified or registered under the Bâtiments de France.
At its helm Sklaerenn Imbeaud, passionate about contemporary creations, she creates unique works demonstrating her expertise and creativity, whether for private clients or public commissions.
A stained glass artist since 1996 and recognized master craftsperson in art trades, Sklaerenn Imbeaud opened her workshop in 2004 in Castres where she works with her team on the maintenance, restoration and creation of stained glass windows and artworks throughout the region. Official distributor of the last French artisanal glassworks – La Verrerie Saint-Just – the workshop is the unique relay in Occitanie for blown glass manufactured in France. Sklaerenn Imbeaud trains many young people to the craft, and is keen on making them learn and put into practice a unique know-how, while offering workshops to the general public on Fridays and certain weekends.
She pursues her artistic approach by creating personal works or collaborating with other artists and art craftspeople. Her creations have been exhibited during many renown national events.
Committed to expanding the influence and recognition of art trades know-how, Sklaerenn Imbeaud has been elected for more than 15 years to the Chambre des Métiers et de l’Artisanat (Chamber of Trades and Crafts) of the Occitanie Region and is the president of the art trades commission.

Artisanal expertise
Glass work, stained glass restoration or contemporary creation, all the workshop’s services are carried out with a unique know-how, resulting from 30 years of experience. The workshop is also the official distributor of the last French artisanal glassworks, La Verrerie Saint-Just, for the Occitanie region.
A hive – like workshop
In Castres about ten employees constantly skitter about in the 700m2 workshop. United by a similar state of mind, they nurture a taste for beauty, a respect for materials and heritage. The workshop can be visited, it is listed on the Route des Métiers d’Art d’Occitanie. Don’t hesitate to ask !
A recognized artist
Sklaerenn Imbeaud is the workshop‘s founder, the thinking head, the creative hand and the team’s conductor. Nowadays she is committed to and recognized in contemporary creation, and participates in exhibitions throughout France multiplying collaborations and partnerships, such as with the Cub’ART gallery in Albi.
Training at heart
Over the last 30 years, the workshop has hosted more than 200 trainees and 18 apprentices have obtained their CAP (certificate of professional competence). This shows the importance placed by Sklaerenn Imbeaud on training and transmission of knowledge, particularly towards women. At the same time , she also offers workshops for amateurs, thus allowing a wider audience to discover and appreciate this art.

The workshop is the only official distributor in Occitanie of La Verrerie Saint-Just, the last French glassworks labeled Entreprise du patrimoine vivant (EPV) (Living Heritage Company ) The store is rich with 1320 shades of glass and has all the tools necessary for glass work.
